The Team

 Ron Maxwell Ron Maxwell is host of New Day Florida as well as program director for Moody Radio Florida. After coming to Christ and being called to Christian radio, Ron Maxwell launched his career in 1984 as an on-air personality at WSOR. Today he continues to share his talents as program director of Moody Radio Florida and host of New Day Florida. Ron and his wife, Mayda, enjoy short-term missions. They love living close to Florida's Gulf coast and their five beautiful grandchildren.
Kate Bruington is co-host of New Day Florida and also heard on Music for Sunday. Originally from East Hartford, Conn., Kate brings years of TV and radio experience to Moody Radio Florida. She attended Boston Conservatory of Music and traveled the country singing before entering the broadcasting field. Kate's pastimes are reading and writing, and she currently spends much of her free time writing a novel. She has two daughters and two grandchildren.  Kate Bruington
Alan WinfieldAlan Winfield is Meteorologist for Moody Radio Florida. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Meteorology from Penn State University and his Master’s from the University of Oklahoma earning him the American Meteorological Seal. Alan was Chief Meteorologist for Bay News 9 in Tampa. Alan also has a Master of Divinity degree from Trinity Theological Seminary. Not only is he Moody Radio Florida’s accomplished weatherman, he is an associate pastor at North Dunedin Baptist Church. He joined Moody Radio Florida in 2002. He is an accomplished author. His book, Lord Of The Skies, describes how meteorology and the Lord are intricately connected. Alan and his wife, Pam, have a son, Austin.
Glen Schultz

Glen Schultz is news announcer and keeps an eye on the roadways for New Day Florida. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida in political science and has a secondary social science degree. He joined the Salem Communications team in Tampa before coming to Moody Radio Florida in 2008. Currently, Glen is also writing a children’s book. When he’s not involved in writing, he and his wife, Holly, enjoy time with their son, Ryan, and daughter, Jesse. Glen and Holly take an active part in campaigning for local and national leaders.

John BlokJohn Blok contributes interviews and news reports for New Day Florida, is the host of New Day Florida Weekend, and is the web administrator for Moody Radio Florida. Originally from Ontario, Canada, John received his bachelor of arts in Communications from Moody Bible Institute. After working for Moody Radio Chicago as producer for the morning program and as host of Weekend Chicago, he joined the Moody Radio Florida team as a full-time announcer in 2007. John and his wife, Stephanie, continue to rejoice at the safe arrival of their daughter.
